Funding, fees and service arrangements are discussed before any agreement is made, so participants and referrers can make an informed choice.
Eligibility and funding
Services for adolescents aged 13+ and adults
Gold Coast Social Works supports adolescents aged 13 and over and adults. Younger participants may be considered by individual arrangement.
NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants are welcome. NDIA-managed funding is not currently accepted. Private clients are also accepted.
Fees
Fees are charged in line with current NDIS pricing arrangements where applicable. The specific fee and payment arrangements will be discussed and agreed before services commence.
Travel
Provider travel time and kilometres may be charged in accordance with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and will be discussed and agreed with you before services commence.
Cancellation policy
We understand that plans change. Please provide 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or non-attendance may be charged up to the full agreed fee where permitted under current NDIS pricing arrangements. Exceptional circumstances will always be considered.
Before services commence
- Service fit, goals and likely scope are clarified.
- The proposed funding or private-payment pathway is checked.
- Fees, travel, cancellations and payment arrangements are explained.
- A service agreement and informed consent are completed.
